Rising from the ash…’
She was found on the garbage heap. Incurably ill, malnourished and neglected. Help came too late for her sister, but M. survived. She was brought to us like a faded flower. Dull eyes, dull hair, totally apathetic and weak, very weak. Good nutrition, medicines, supplements, speech therapy, developmental therapy, attention and love worked wonders. We saw her blossom. But the greatest Miracle was that God opened the hearts on the other side of the world and allowed M. to be 'born' into a family where she receives every day the warm nurturing that, despite her permanent vulnerability, has made her who she now is. is; a radiant, loving, helpful daughter and sister. No more learning delay, no "dullness", no apathy ......
